Simple "Carbonara"

Not authentic, but still delicious.

Eggy goodness

Here's what I used for 1 large serving:

Ingredients
2 slices of Ham
2 teaspoon Olive oil
1/4 white Onion sliced
1 Garlic clove minced
1/4 pound Spaghetti
1 bunch Parsley minced
Grated Parmesan
1 egg

Now throw it in a bowl, and you done son! Ok...maybe not.

[Prepping]:
1) Boil Pasta ~ 10 minutes
2) While pasta is cooking, cook out rawness of garlic in olive oil for about 3 minutes(medium low heat)
3) Throw in ham, and onions, and cook down until onions soften, and Ham caramelizes.
4) Once pasta is Al Dente, drain water, and mix spaghetti in pan with ham and onions.
5) Take off heat, and mix beaten egg into pasta. Salt and Pepper to taste
6) Add parmesan and parsley if desired.
7) Enjoy

So here's a quick Carbonara alternative, if you don't have the proper bacon and pecorino cheese ingredients. Still yummy!

Until next time, enjoy and rock on!
